Failure to Adequately Warn Users of Tooth Decay

Our legal team is actively pursuing claims against Indivior, Inc., the manufacturer of Suboxone, for their failure to adequately warn users of the significant risks of tooth decay and other serious oral health issues prior to adding a warning label in 2022.

It has become increasingly evident that Indivior, formerly known as Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals, was aware of the potential for severe dental harm caused by Suboxone but chose not to inform the public in a timely manner.

Despite accumulating evidence of oral health risks associated with Suboxone use—evidenced by at least 136 adverse events reported between 2007 and 2021—Indivior did not adequately address or communicate these potential side effects to consumers or healthcare providers.

While Suboxone remains an important tool in the fight against opioid addiction, our firm believes in the paramount importance of informed patient choice. The ongoing Suboxone tooth decay lawsuits emphasize the necessity for pharmaceutical companies to fully disclose all possible side effects of their products, allowing patients to take preventative measures against risks such as dental injuries.
